Boerum Hill residents Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have been spending more time in their Los Angeles home for work purposes, but in a recent interview with Go-Brooklyn, Ledger downplays their West Coast abode as a "one-bedroom treehouse" and "just a place to drop our bags." When asked what he liked best about Brooklyn, he told the local paper:
"I like everything. I adore it. I love my neighbors and the coffee shop down the road. We're left there to live. That's the thing in New York City: you're protected by numbers in a way - particularly Brooklyn. People are just trying to get from A to B."
Obviously, when Ledger is being interviewed by Go-Brooklyn, one can expect him to sing the praises of his hometown borough, But we also found a recent article from the Canadian Press where he talks more about his contentment here in Brooklyn.
The article says that Ledger and Williams live "in a modest neighbourhood in Brooklyn, New York, where they do their own grocery shopping, have their neighbours over for dinner and are competing in a 'greenest block in Brooklyn' contest." If he's bragging about Brooklyn to the Canadian press, then it's probably fair to say that he isn't just buttering up the local paper — and that he and his young family appreciate Brooklyn as much as the rest of us.Рубрики: | [Banners/Headers] [News/Interviews] |
