Franz Ferdinand have admitted they snubbed an offer to allow a US fast food chain to use one of their songs.
Frontman Alex Kapranos said a large Mexican chain wanted to use the song 'Bite Hard' from their current album 'Tonight: Franz Ferdinand', for an advertising campaign.
But the band turned down the offer because they didn't feel comfortable signing it over.
"They asked if they could use our song 'Bite Hard and I think the idea was people were going to be biting into their chili enchilada while the song was in the background." Kapranos told Absolute Radio.
"It would be like going to McDonald's or something like that. It just didn't seem right."
Their new single 'No You Girls' was released earlier this week.
