Enter Shikari

Enter Shikari - английская пост-хардкор группа, активно использующая в своей музыке электронные сэмплы. Группа образовалась в 2003 году в Сент-Олбансе, на родине всех четырех участников. Их дебютный альбом, Take to the Skies, вышел 19 марта 2007 и достиг четвертого места в официальном чарте альбомов Великобритании.

Биография.

Группа образовалась в 2003 году выходцами из группы «Hybrid». Shikari (Шикари) переводится с языка хинди как «охотник».

Ребятам удалось добиться успеха без помощи больших рекорд-лейблов, создав свой независимый лейбл «Ambush Reality».

Группа завоевала довольно большое количество фанатов благодаря их страничке на сайте MySpace, где они публиковали свои работы.

В период 2003-2004 группа выпустила три сингла, которые были доступны для скачивания на их сайте. В августе 2006 они опубликовали сингл «Mothership», который стал синглом недели на iTunes. Их первый сингл, опубликованный на физическом носителе, был двухсторонним и включал в себя ремастированные версии песен «Sorry, You’re not a Winner» и «OK, Time for Plan B». Он был опубликован 30 октября 2006 года тиражом в 1000 копий и был распродан в первую же неделю продаж.

Их следующий сингл, «Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour», вышел 5 марта 2007 года и занял 27 место в официальном чарте Веикобритании.

Дебютный альбом «Take to the Skies» вышел 19 марта 2007 года и занял 4 место. Альбом по большей части состоял из старых ремастированных песен, которые они выпускали ранее.

В это время они должны были участвовать в следующих фестивалях: «Download Festival», «Readingand Leeds Festivals», «Give it a Name», «Glastonbury Festival», «Oxegen festival» в Ирландии и «Rock am Ring» в Германии (один из самых больших фестов в мире).

Недавно группа записала инструментальный трек «Enter Shikari vs. Blue Dragon» для игры «Blue Dragon» для приставки Xbox360.

14 мая начался их первый североамериканский тур.

6 июня они дали живой концерт для Zane Lowe на BBC Radio Theatre.

Сами понимаете летнее время года и свободного времени совсем мало. так что работа сообщества как вы заметили, со стороны админа, по крайней мере отчасти приостановлена.
