Кто-нибудь видел историю про Алекса Тернера и Таню??Если нет , то наслаждайтесь,если вы конешно знаете английский)))
Alex Turner stepped into the small bar just off of Sunset Strip.
It was roughly one in the morning, and he just left the venue his band played at. He stayed behind to sign some autographs for the few kids who waited hours for them to come out.
Alex Turner wasn't a complicated boy.
He liked to have fun.
He liked to play music.
He liked being home (even if home was an ocean a way at the moment).
Alex Turner was happy with his life.
His band was successful.
He was healthy.
What did he have to complain about?
His lack of a love life?
But that seemed too absurd to complain about.
There were plenty of fish in the sea.
He just turned twenty-one. He has plenty of time to settle down.
The bar Alex walked into wasn't anything new to him. It was small, and slightly dingy.
If you knew Alex, you knew he drank.
He liked to drink, but he knew when to stop.
But unlike him, the petite girl sitting at the bar with three empty glasses in front of her didn't.
She looked tired, and worn out. She was no older than nineteen.
Alex took the seat next to her, and asked the bartender for a glass of whiskey.
"Oh, that sounds fun," The girl giggled. "Get me one too."
Alex laughed at the girl who was currently trying to get every last drop of whatever she was drinking out of the glass.
"You're in a band," The girl turned to Alex. "Arctic...Arctic...something."
Alex grinned, "I'm Alex."
"Tanya," she mumbled. "Tanya...Tanya...Tanya."
This girl's laugh was just what Alex needed.
She was drunk, but there was something about her that made Alex want to know more about her.
"I like your band," She giggled. "I was going to go to the show, but I had this Pre-Med exam."
The bartender handed them both their drinks.
"I totally failed, though," Tanya smiled. "I can't wait to see Daddy's face when he finds out his little girl dropped out of college, and became a hooker."
"You're a hooker?"
"No, but it's quite the aspiration."
Alex chuckled into this glass.
"I mean, come on," Tanya said, raising her voice. "Who really wants to slice, and dice people? It's so much easier to walk up to some boy- like you- smile, wink, and get paid to have sex, and it's a lot less gory. Well, unless you're into kinky shit."
Alex nodded along.
"Daddy wants me to be a surgeon. Mommy wanted me to be a lawyer. My brother is a lawyer. My sister just graduated Medical School," Tanya told him. "Then there's me. Tanya. I don't like lying and I don't like blood. So, what's left?"
"Prostitution?"
"Exactly."
This went on for an hour.
Tanya told Alex everything there is to know about Tanya.
She liked Mint Chocolate-Chip ice cream.
She dropped a knife on her big toe when she was six.
Her first boyfriend ended up being gay.
Her sister is perfect.
Her brother is beyond perfect.
She likes the rain.
And she mentioned his accent was sexy about twelve times.
Tanya was going on her forth glass of Whiskey, and Alex couldn't seem to finish his first.
He never had a problem with his liquor before.
But for some reason he wanted to remember tonight.
He wanted to remember this girl.
Tanya got off of her seat, and walked over to an old Jukebox.
Alex followed.
"Play me a song," She sounded so sober. Like she knew exactly what was going on. She sounded real. Her voice wasn't coated by the Whiskey.
Alex looked through the song list, and pushed A14.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
"How did you know Blackbird was just what I wanted?"
He smiled, "You looked like a Beatles kind of girl."
Tanya smiled at Alex.
"Your accent is really sexy."
"You've told me," Alex laughed. "Thirteen times."
Their eyes met like two crashing cars.
They locked.
Tanya didn't know this boy at all.
But this was the boy she waited her whole life to meet.
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
i know i'm supposed to love you
