Got home on Sat night to discover my pet carrier, hay and guinea pig food had either been stolen or taken by a twat from the council. As it's such an odd thing to steal (my bike was on the landing!) I'm leaning more towards twat from council. There was no note and no one has previously spoken to me about keeping a pet carrier on my landing, but yet my neighbours have a TV, boxes and their washing out and none of that was taken or moved. I can understand them taking the hay, but not the food or the pet carrier.

So do I:
a) file a police report
b) contact the council
c) do both?
