Çíàòåëå ëè âû, ÷òî: â 1999 ãîäó ãðóïïà ñîñòàâèëà ñïèñîê öåëåé, êîòîðûå õîòåëè áû, ÷òîáû äîñòèã Linkin Park. Ôàððåëë ïðîñòî õîòåë ñäåëàòü ìóçûêàëüíóþ êàðüåðó, Áåííèíãòîí õîòåë Çîëîòîé äèñê, à Øèíîäà ñêàçàë, ÷òî ðàñc÷èòûâàë íå ìåíüøå, ÷åì íà Ãðýììè. Âñå ýòè öåëè áûëè äîñòèãíóòû.

26 ÿíâàðÿ 2008 áðèòàíñêèé æóðíàë Kerrang îïóáëèêîâàë ñóïåð-ãèãàíòñêóþ ñòàòüþ îáî âñåé èñòîðèè Linkin Park. «The shocking truth behind Linkin Park». Î ïðîáëåìàõ ãðóïïû, êîòîðûå èìåëè ìåñòî áûòü ñ ñàìûõ ïåðâûõ äíåé, î òîì, ÷òî ×åñòåð ïèë, óïîòðåáëÿë íàðêîòèêè è ìîðàëüíî ðàçëàãàëñÿ âïëîòü äî 2004 ãîäà. Ìíîãîå áûëî è ìíîãî èçìåíèëîñü.

Ïîëíûé ïåðåâîä èíòåðâüþ:

Çà âñåì òåì âåëèêîëåïèåì ïîï êóëüòóðû, êîòîðîå áûëî ïðåäñòàâëåíî íà MTV Video Music Awards 2008, íåêîòîðûå ðîê-çâåçäû íàâåðíÿêà ïî÷óâñòâîâàëè ñåáÿ çàáûòûìè. “Ïî÷åìó â íîìèíàöèÿõ íå áûëè ïðåäñòàâëåíû Foo Fighters è Nickelback?” - ñïðàøèâàåò âîêàëèñò Linkin Park ×åñòåð Áåííèíãòîí - "èëè ãðóïïà Three Days Grace, ó êîòîðûõ áûë î÷åíü ïëîäîòâîðíûé ãîä? Íå áûëî íè Vampire Weekend, íè Daughtry. Ýòà öåðåìîíèÿ èìåëà îäíîñòîðîííåå ïîï íàïðàâëåíèå”. Âîêàëèñò îïèñûâàåò ïðîøåäøóþ ôååðèþ êàê “ñïëîøíàÿ ïóòàííèöà è áåñïîðÿäîê”. “VMA ýòîãî ãîäà çàðåêîìåíäîâàëà íîâûå ñòàíäàðòû. ×àñòè÷íî ïðîáëåìà ñîñòîÿëà â òîì, ÷òî íà öåðåìîíèè ïî÷òè íå áûëî çâåçä. Ïëþñ êî âñåìó ýòîìó íà øîó âñå ÷èòàëè ñ ëèñòà. ß óæàñíî ðàçî÷àðîâàí”.

“Ñâÿçü ñ ðîê-çâåçäàìè âñåãäà áûëî ñëîæíî íàëàäèòü, íî íå äî òàêîé ñòåïåíè, êàê ýòî ïðîèçîøëî â ýòîì ãîäó” - ãîâîðèò Áåííèíãòîí. “ß äóìàþ, VMA îêîí÷àòåëüíî îòîøëà îò àññîöèàöèè “ìóçûêà áåç ðàìîê è ãðàíèö”. Âñå âûãëÿäåëî êàê ðåêëàìà æåâàòåëüíîé ðåçèíêè èëè Äèñíååâñêèé ìóëüòèê, ïîýòîìó îñòàëüíûå ÷ëåíû ìîåé ãðóïïû è òàêèå ãðóïïû êàê Foo Fighters íå ïîÿâèëèñü íà öåðåìîíèè. Åñëè ÷åñíî, ÿ äàæå íå îæèäàë, ÷òî ìû ÷òî-òî âûèãðàåì, ïîòîìó ÷òî, ãîâîðÿ áåç ïðåóâåëè÷åíèé, ìû ñëèøêîì âçðîñëûå äëÿ èõ ôîðìàòà”. Îäíàêî Linkin Park âñå æå ïîëó÷èëè ëóííîãî ÷åëîâå÷êà (moonman – íàãðàäà íà êîíêóðñå VMA) â íîìèíàöèè “Ëó÷øåå ðîê-âèäåî” çà âèäåî "Shadow of the Day" èç äâàæäû ïëàòèíîâîãî àëüáîìà Minutes to Midnight.


Áåííèíãòîí îòêðûë òàéíó î òîì, ÷òî ñîáèðàåòñÿ âûïóñòèòü ñâîé ñîëüíûé àëüáîì â ñëåäóþùåì ãîäó ïåðåä ðåëèçîì íîâîãî àëüáîìà Linkin Park. “Ýòî áóäåò çàìå÷àòåëüíûé îòæèã. ß íà÷àë ðàáîòó íàä íèì åùå â 2005, êîãäà ó íàñ áûë ñåìè ìåñÿ÷íûé ïåðåðûâ îò êîíöåðòîâ. Ìíå õîòåëîñü ÷òî-òî ïðèäóìàòü â ñâîáîäíîå âðåìÿ.  çàïàñå ó ìåíÿ áûëè ïåñíè, êîòîðûå, ÿ ïîíèìàë, íå ïîäîéäóò äëÿ Linkin Park, íî êîòîðûå áûëè íå ìåíåå õîðîøè. À ïîòîì ìû íà÷àëè ðàáîòàòü íàä Minutes To Midnight, è ýòà ðàáîòà ïðîäîëæàëàñü íà ïðîòÿæåíèè ïîñëåäíèõ äâóõ ëåò. Íî òåïåðü, êîãäà òóð ïîäîøåë ê êîíöó, ó ìåíÿ ïîÿâèëîñü âðåìÿ äëÿ ðàáîòû íàä ýòèì àëüáîìîì - î÷åíü ñèëüíûì, ãðóñòíûì, òåìíûì è ìåëîäè÷íûì”.

Àëüáîì áóäåò âûïóùåí ïîä ëåéáëîì Warner Bros â 2009 ãîäó. Íà ñ÷åò íàçâàíèÿ ïðîåêòà, ×åñòåð ãîâîðèò, ÷òî îáäóìûâàë óæå íåñêîëüêî âàðèàíòîâ: “Íåêîòîðîå âðåìÿ ìû íàçûâàëèñü Snow White Tan, ïîòîì ÿ ïîìåíÿë íàçâàíèå íà Dead By Sunrise, íî åñëè ÷åñòíî, ìíå áîëüøå íðàâèòñÿ ðàáîòàòü ïîä ñâîèì èìåíåì – ×åñòåð Áåííèíãòîí”.

À òåì âðåìåíåì Linkin Park óæå âî âòîðîé ðàç ñîáèðàþòñÿ åõàòü â Êèòàé â ñëåäóþùåì ìåñÿöå, ãäå áóäóò èãðàòü ïåðåä ïóáëèêîé áîëåå 40 òûñÿ÷ ÷åëîâåê â ïîääåðæêó òóðà äëÿ Music For Relief. “Êèòàé ðàçâèâàåòñÿ î÷åíü áûñòðûìè òåìïàìè” - ãîâîðèò ×åñòåð, - “Òàì ó íèõ ñòîëüêî æå ìèëëèîíåðîâ, ñêîëüêî ó íàñ ëþäåé”. Íî êîãäà ðå÷ü èäåò î ìóçûêàëüíîì áèçíåñå, âåùè ðàññìàòðèâàþòñÿ íåìíîãî ñ äðóãîé ñòîðîíû. Áåííèíãòîí îáúÿñíÿåò: " Êèòàå íà êàæäûå ñòî òûñÿ÷ ýêçåìïëÿðîâ àëüáîìîâ, ïðîäàííûõ ëåãàëüíî, ïðèõîäèòñÿ ìèëëèîí òàêèõ æå íå ëåãàëüíûõ àëüáîìîâ, ïîýòîìó êîãäà ìû òóäà ïðèåçæàåì, ÿ íå ÷óâñòâóþ áîëüøîé ðàçíèöû ìåæäó âûñòóïëåíèåì â Êèòàå è âûñòóïëåíèåì â Íüþ-Éîðêå”.

Íå çíàþ êàê âû, íî ÿ ïðÿì ãîðæóñü ×åñòåðîì. Âñ¸, ÷òî îí ñêàçàë ïðî VMA, ïðàâèëüíî.

Àìåðèêàíñêàÿ ãðóïïà Linkin Park ðàáîòàåò íàä çàïèñüþ ñâîåé ÷åòâåðòîé ïëàñòèíêè. Îäèí èç ëèäåðîâ êîëëåêòèâà, Ìàéê Øèíîäà, çàÿâèë, ÷òî íîâûé äèñê áóäåò ïðèíöèïèàëüíî îòëè÷àòüñÿ îò ïðåäûäóùèõ ðåëèçîâ Linkin Park ïî çâó÷àíèþ, íàñòðîåíèþ è êîíöåïöèè. Îá ýòîì ïèøåò èçäàíèå Rolling Stone.

Ïî ñëîâàì ó÷àñòíèêà Linkin Park, ãðóïïà óæå çàïèñàëà ïîëîâèíó ìàòåðèàëà. Ìóçûêàíò íå ñîîáùèë, êàêîâî ðàáî÷åå íàçâàíèå ïëàñòèíêè, îäíàêî ðàññêàçàë, ÷òî âûõîä äèñêà íàìå÷åí íà íà÷àëî 2010 ãîäà. Ïðåäûäóùèé àëüáîì êîëëåêòèâà - "Minutes To Midnight" – âûøåë â 2007 ãîäó.

 íàñòîÿùåå âðåìÿ ôðîíòìåí Linkin Park ×åñòåð Áåííèíãòîí ðàáîòàåò â ñòóäèè íå òîëüêî âìåñòå ñ îñòàëüíûìè ó÷àñòíèêàìè ãðóïïû, íî òàêæå çàíèìàåòñÿ ñîëüíûì ïðîåêòîì, êîòîðûé ïîëó÷èë íàçâàíèå Dead By Sunrise. Ñàìîñòîÿòåëüíàÿ ðàáîòà ìóçûêàíòà äîëæíà ïîÿâèòüñÿ â ïðîäàæå çà íåñêîëüêî ìåñÿöåâ äî âûõîäà ÷åòâåðòîãî àëüáîìà Linkin Park.

Íå òàê äàâíî êîëëåêòèâ ïðèíÿë ó÷àñòèå â çàïèñè ñàóíäòðåêà ê ôèëüìó Ìàéêëà Áýÿ "Òðàíñôîðìåðû 2: Ìåñòü ïàäøåãî".  ñòóäèè ó÷àñòíèêàì Linkin Park ïîìîãàë èçâåñòíûé êîìïîçèòîð Õàíñ Öèììåð. Ïðåìüåðà êàðòèíû, äëÿ êîòîðîé Linkin Park è Öèììåð çàïèñàëè íåñêîëüêî âàðèàíòîâ îäíîé ìóçûêàëüíîé òåìû, ñîñòîèòñÿ 24 èþíÿ.

Dead By Sunrise íà÷àëè îáðåòàòü î÷åðòàíèÿ â 2005 ãîäó, â òî âðåìÿ, êàê ×åñòåð Áåííèíãòîí ðàáîòàë íàä àëüáîìîì Linkin Park – «Minutes To Midnight». «ß íàïèñàë íåñêîëüêî ïåñåí, êîòîðûå êàê ìíå êàçàëîñü, áûëè äåéñòâèòåëüíî õîðîøè, íî ÿ ïîíèìàë, ÷òî ýòè ïåñíè ïî ñòèëþ íå ïîäõîäÿò Linkin Park», ãîâîðèò Áåííèíãòîí. «Îíè áûëè áîëåå òåìíûìè è ÷óâñòâèòåëüíûìè, ÷åì òå ïåñíè, êîòîðûå êîãäà ÿ ëèáî ïèñàë äëÿ ãðóïïû. Òàê ÷òî ÿ ðåøèë ïîðàáîòàòü íàä íèìè ñàìîñòîÿòåëüíî, à íå ïåðåèíà÷èòü è ïîäîãíàòü èõ ïîä Linkin Park», ãîâîðèò Áåííèíãòîí. Îäíàêî íà÷àëî Dead By Sunrise áûëî ïîëîæåíî íàìíîãî ðàíüøå, åùå êîãäà áóäóùèé ó÷àñòíèê ãðóïïû, Ðàÿí Øàê ïîçíàêîìèëñÿ ñ Áåííèíãòîíî âî âðåìÿ çàïèñè äåáþòíîãî àëüáîìà Linkin Park – “Hybrid Theory”.  îäíîì èç èíòåðâüþ Øàê ñêàçàë: «ß ïîñòîÿííî çàõîäèë ê íåìó äîìîé è ñëóøàë, êàê îí èãðàåò íà àêóñòè÷åñêîé ãèòàðå. È ÿ âñåãäà äóìàë: Î, ìîé Áîã, ýòè ïåñíè òàêèå êëàññíûå».
Íàçâàíèå ãðóïïû – Dead By Sunrise, ðàííèå èçâåñòíîå êàê «Snow White Tan», îòðàæàåò âðåìÿ, â òå÷åíèå êîòîðîãî çàïèñûâàëñÿ àëüáîì.  îäíîì èç èíòåðâüþ Áåííèíãòîí ñêàçàë: «ß âûáðàë ýòî èìÿ äëÿ ãðóïïû, ïîñêîëüêó, êîãäà ìû íà÷èíàëè ðàáîòó íàä àëüáîìîì, ÿ óõîäèë â çàãóëû… íàçîâåì ýòî çàãóëàìè. Ýòî áûëî íå î÷åíü âåñåëî, íî ìû ìíîãî êóòèëè. Áûëî ìíîãî ìîìåíòîâ, êîãäà ÿ ñòîÿë íà ãðàíè ñàìîóáèéñòâà, ÿ îùóùàë ñåáÿ òàê: òû íå óâåðåí, ÷òî íå ñäåëàåøü ýòîãî íà ñëåäóþùèé äåíü. Íàçâàíèå ãðóïïû, îò÷àñòè áûëî îñíîâàíî íà òîì îáðàçå æèçíè, è íàçâàíèå àëüáîìà, “Out Of Ashes”, âðîäå âûõîäà èç ñàìîðàçðóøèòåëüíîãî ñîñòîÿíèÿ, â êîòîðîì ÿ íàõîäèëñÿ, òàê ñêàçàòü, âîññòàíèå èç ïåïëà».
Çàïèñü äåáþòíîãî àëüáîìà ãðóïïû íà÷àëàñü â èþëå 2008 ãîäà, ïîñëå òîãî êàê çàêîí÷èëñÿ ãàñòðîëüíûé òóð Linkin Park. Áåííèíãòîí îäíîâðåìåííî ðàáîòàë íàä ñîëüíûì ïðîåêòîì è î÷åðåäíûì àëüáîìîì Linkin Park. Íàä äåáþòíûì àëüáîì, Áåííèíãòîí ðàáîòàë âìåñòå ñ ïðîäþñåðîì Ãîâàðäîì Áåíñîíîì (îí òàê æå ðàáîòàë ñ òàêèìè ãðóïïàìè êàê My Chemical Romance è Daughtry) è ó÷àñòíèêàìè ãðóïïû Julien-K. Áåííèíãòîí íàïèñàë áîëüøèíñòâî ïåñåí äëÿ àêóñòè÷åñêîé ãèòàðû, ïðåæäå ÷åì âìåñòå ñ ãðóïïîé ïðåâðàòèòü ýòè ïåñíè â õàðä-ðîê, áàëëàäó, èëè âîâñå èçáàâèòüñÿ îò ðîê-çâó÷àíèÿ è ñäåëàòü ïîëíîñòüþ ýëåêòðîííûé òðåê. Îäèí èç ó÷àñòíèêîâ Linkin Park, Ìàéê Øèíîäà ïîäòâåðäèë, ÷òî “Out Of Ashes”, «Íà ìíîãî áîëåå ðîêîâûé àëüáîì (÷åì àëüáîìû Linkin Park)». Òàê æå Áåííèíãòîí êîíòðîëèðîâàë âñå ýòàïû ñîçäàíèÿ àëüáîìà, âêëþ÷àÿ ïëàíèðîâàíèå è ïðîèçâîäñòâî.
Ïåðâûì ñèíãëîì ñ àëüáîìà ñòàëà êîìïîçèöèÿ “Crawl Back In”, íà êîòîðóþ â ñâîþ î÷åðåäü áûëî îòñíÿòî ìóçûêàëüíîå âèäåî, òàê æå ìóçûêàëüíîå âèäåî áûëî ñíÿòî íà êîìïîçèöèþ “Let Down”. Íà äàííûé ìîìåíò äëÿ ïðîñëóøèâàíèÿ äîñòóïíû òîëüêî òðè òðåêà ñ ãðÿäóùåãî àëüáîìà: “Crawl Back In”, “Fire” è “ My Suffering”.
Îôèöèàëüíîé äàòîé ðîæäåíèÿ ãðóïïû ìîæíî ñ÷èòàòü 9 èþëÿ 2009 ãîäà, èìåííî â ýòîò äåíü áûë îïóáëèêîâàí ïðåññ-ðåëèç î ãðóïïå Dead By Sunrise.Ñîñòàâ ãðóïïû:

Q: Ïðàâäà, ÷òî Äæî Õàí ñòðàäàåò ðàçäâîåíèåì ëè÷íîñòè?
Ìàéê: Àáñîëþòíî. Äæî Õàí ïðîäîëæàåò èçîáðåòàòü íîâûå ëèöà åæåäíåâíî. Ìû íå óâåðåíû, ñêîëüêî èõ ó íåãî, â ýòîì âîïðîñå îí äåðæèò íàñ â íåâåäåíèè.

×åñòåð: Îäèí ðàç Ìàéê áûë â îòâðàòèòåëüíîì íàñòðîåíèè, è ìû áûëè äîëæíû áûëè ñäåëàòü îñòàíîâêó, ÷òîáû îí ìîã èñïîëüçîâàòü áèîòóàëåò.

×åñòåð: Êàê áû òî íè áûëî, Ìàéê ïîøåë â òóàëåò, à ìû îæèäàëè âíóòðè àâòîáóñà. Çàòåì âûòàùèëè ýòîò áèîñîðòèð è íà÷àëè êà÷àòü âçàä è âïåðåä, ýòî áûëà èäåÿ Äæî. Ìû íàêëîíÿëè åãî â òî âðåìÿ êàê Ìàéê áûë òàì!
