A Stieff repousse sterling silver centerpiece bowl hand chased with flowers and leaves against a fine stippled background.




A large ornate sterling silver Tiffany pitcher chased with roses and rose leaves against a finely stippled background. The pitcher weighs 32 troy ounces and measures 8 1/4" tall. Circa 1880.



An English unmarked silver plated biscuit barrel with engraved bands of decoration and two applied elephants on the side. The feet are elaborate and also in the Indian style. The lid hinges back to open and the finial is ivory and held in place with the original wing nut.



A large sterling silver tureen by Tiffany and Company with applied fine decoration on the lid and bottom. Monogrammed with a special three letter script monogram embellished with flowers. Circa 1880




A wonderful sterling silver tea pot by S Kirk & Son Co with chased irises all around the body and lid on four feet and three dimensional flower finial. The handle, lid and spout are also heavily chased. Height 7" at the finial; overall width 10". Extremely heavy i.e. 39.30 troy ounces. Circa 1903. Never monogrammed.


A footed Kirk repousse sterling silver centerpiece fruit bowl, the upper portion chased with flowers, ferns and leaves. It stands on four cast and applied feet. Monogrammed inside the bowl as shown in the detailed pictures. Marked S Kirk & Son Co., 925/1000. Diameter 9 1/2"; weight 30.40 troy ounces.



An exceptional finely chased Kirk repousse sterling silver sugar basket with swing handle, chased with ferns, flowers and leaves. Style number 1789. Also marked S Kirk & Son, 925/1000. Height 5"; length 5 3/4"; weight 11.6 troy ounces. Never monogrammed.



A Kirk 11 oz silver butter dish with a full figure cow finial numbered 2724. Complete with the original under plate hand chased with flowers. Monogrammed on the plate and under the butter dish. Weight: 17.3 troy ounces. Plate 7 1/4" diameter. Butter dish diameter 5 1/4".


An ornate pair of sterling silver bon bon dishes by Redlich and retailed by Bailey Banks and Biddle. Circa 1900. Monogrammed in the center. Each bowl in the shape of a flower on a circular pedestal rim base.



A three piece set comprising a pierced 5 1/2' tall vase on feet with matching marked hand hammered silver liner. The footed plate has a diameter of 5 1/2" and matching beaded and embossed decoration. Monogrammed.



An enormous coin silver coffee pot with the Bailey and Kitchen hallmark, pre 1848. The body has an engraved crest. Chased with repousse landscape scenes together with flowers and people. Height 13" to the morning glory finial. Weight: 49.75 troy ounces. Excellent crisp condition. Lacquer recently removed and needs natural tarnishing. Excellent quality chasing




A large impressive ornate sterling silver basket by Gorham circa 1900 with a swing handle. The pedestal base and body chased with swags and flowers and the top pierced. Monogrammed on one side only in the cartouche

A sterling silver antique vase marked Ball Black, New York on the base and also English Sterling. Circa 1865 with two griffins supporting the vase. Monogrammed on the pedestal base. This vase is probably the work of John Wendt of New York. Weight: 12.5 troy ounces.

A pair of cast all silver candlesticks by Howard and Company of New York Circa 1896. The bases are not weighted at all and there is a script monogram and a date of June 25th 1896 discreetly engraved on the pedestal of each stick.

Coin Silver Sugar Basket.A coin silver sugar basket with swing handle manufactured by Eoff and Sheppard for Ball Black in New York. Hand chased flowers and scrolls on both sides with a monogram in one cartouche only.


A sterling silver hand chased vegetable dish by Schofield of Baltimore. High relief chasing of flowers including roses and leaves on the lid and base. Monogrammed with a K in the center of the bottom dish.


An American antique sterling silver pitcher with a hand engraved crest on the side and ornate applied cast claw feet. Ornate chased rim and handle.



A hand chased sterling silver pitcher by Schofield of Baltimore in the baltimore Rose pattern. The body and handle are entirely hand chased with flowers and leaves.

A sterling silver vase by Shreve of San Francisco with a weighted bottom. The pedestal itself is open and not weighted. Monogrammed on the side. The applied band on the rim of the vase is made up of large water lilies and lily pads. the came border is applied to the pedestal at the base of the vase.

A pair of heavy sterling silver salt and pepper shakers with deep high relief chasing of flowers and leaves against a stippled background. Marked S Kirk & Son Co. 925/1000. Height 4 1/4"; weight 5 oz troy combined. Monogrammed underneath.

American sterling silver epergne with center trumpet vase with a cast ornate floral base and rim. The trumpet is hand engraved with scrolls and flowers. The four hanging footed baskets are hand engraved with the same motifs and hang from four arms. The vase and baskets have script monograms. Maker is Roger Williams of Providence, RI.

A Kirk Repousse hand chased architectural pattern six piece tea set comprising a kettle on stand, tea pot, hot water pot, covered sugar, creamer and waste. Total weight: approx 195 troy oz. Finest detailed crisp chasing showing minutest detail. This is in the original oak chest fitted by S Kirk at the time of purchase by the original owner in 1906. The set is full size.


A footed sterling water pitcher retailed by Mermod Jaccard and manufactured by Wilcox and Evertsen of New York, NY which was later bought out by International Silver Co. The decoration is of floral swags, flowers and bows. Script monogram on the front. Ornate applied handle.


A large Tiffany sterling silver pitcher dated 1897 with finely chased decoration of scrolls and flowers. There is a large cartouche bearing a script monogram and a presentation inscribed on the base. A set of twelve sterling silver bread plates by the Loring Andrews Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. Circa 1900. Monogrammed at the center with a script monogram and chased with a repousse border of a combination of flowers and grapes against a finely stippled background. There is an additional applied border on the edge.

A sterling silver bread tray by Whiting with pierced border. Never monogrammed. The pierced section has applied cast floral swags applied all around the length of the border. There is also an applied border on the edge. Excellent sharp detail with hardly any wear and best of all never monogrammed


A beautifully chased full size chocolate pot measuring 8 1/4" tall with an ivory handle and hinged lid. The decoration includes multiple flowers on the entire surface including the lid and spout. Weight 18.75 troy ounces. Maker Davis & Galt.

A pair of William Comyns English sterling silver footed pierced bon bon dishes. Dated for London 1891 in perfect condition and never monogrammed

A remarkable coin silver pitcher by Gorham with engine turned and bright cut bands of decoration and a magnificent cast three dimensional naturalistic handle made up of leaves, wheat and lily pads. There is a band of ball and wire decoration that encircles the mid section of the pitcher. Monogrammed in the cartouche and dated 1862. Also engraved in a large cartouche below the spout is an intricately engraved interior view of J B Mathewson Jewelry Manufacturers factory. Provenance: this pitcher belonged to the owner of that particular factory and is accompanied by a card with typed details from an exhibition. Height 9"; weight 26.15 troy ounces.


Four Tiffany sterling hand chased coaster with a diameter of 7" and a monogrammed cartouche at the center. Circa 1891 -1902. The decoration is of chased scrolls and flowers with a ruffled border

A tall heavy hand chased sterling silver ewer by A G Schultz of Baltimore, Md. The entire pitcher including the handle hand chased with various flowers against a background of fine stippling. The pedestal base has a hand chased border of inverted leaves. Crisp sharp condition with minimal wear. Monogrammed in the cartouche on the front.

A sterling silver tall flower vase by Graff Dunn and Washbourne in the French border pattern which is pierced on the border. Hand engraved decoration on the sides of the vase. Never monogrammed.Circa 1900


Six sterling silver landscape pattern goblets measuring 6 1/2" tall and chased with castles and gardens. Monogrammed with a vine style monogram on the stems. Weight: 6.15 troy oz each. Manufactured circa 1900 by Schofield of Baltimore, Maryland.

A large heavy sterling 12" diameter place on a pedestal base with a border made up of wood fence complete with nails and applied berries and flowers in fine detail. Monogrammed at the center of the plate.

A sterling pitcher by Simpson Hall and Miller with hand chased leaves and four feet that extend from the base. Never monogrammed



A Stieff Repousse pattern sterling silver five piece tea set on matching tray. Monogrammed in the center of the tray and on the underside of each piece. Tray measures 26" across the handles. Weight: 215 troy oz.


A large sterling silver 14" tall vase, monogrammed in the cartouche on the top of the lip. The chased decoration depicts flowers roses and chrysanthemums with leaves and fruit including pears and strawberries. The maker is A G Schultz of Baltimore Md.



A sterling silver sauceboat by Tiffany & Co dated with the large M mark 1875-1891. Excellent condition and high quality chasing of flowers and leaves. The handle terminated with the head of a ram complete with horns facing into the bowl.


A heavy fine quality three handled sterling vase with cast three dimensional naturalistic grapevine handles. There are additional three dimensional cast applied leaves on the neck and bunches of grapes suspended from the cast handles. The base and body are chased with grapes and leaves and hand engraved in the background with additional vines. Height 11 3/4"; weight 52 troy ounces. Marked sterling in the center section and the retailer Harris & Shafer Co. of Washington, DC. Monogrammed with a presentation from and to and the date 1910.



A sterling sugar and creamer chased with flowers and leaves. Monogrammed with a script monogram in a cartouche on both pieces. The sugar basket has a removable lid and a swing handle. Marked sterling only. Circa 1870. Could possible be the work of Peter Krider of Philadelphia.


A finely etched sterling silver and glass claret jug with an engraved handle and ornate silver mounting. The finial is a rampant lion holding a shield. Height: 10 3/4". Perfect condition. Hallmarked Birmingham 1896.

A large 52.55 troy ounce sterling silver pitcher by Gorham dated 1904. Monogrammed on one side with a script monogram and with 1905 in the other cartouche. The pitcher is 12" tall and 13 1/2" at the handle. Chased with scrolls and flowers.


A pair of finely chased tazzas or compotes decorated with ferns and flowers in a broad border and on the bases. Monogrammed in the center of the bowls. Combined weight: 48 troy ounces



A finely hand chased sterling silver pitcher, circa 1880 in pristine condition. The handle is hand decorated with applied vines. The bottom of the pitcher is chased with acanthus leaves. Retailed by J E Caldwell of Philadelphia but experience in looking at the style and detail of the chasing suggests that this is the work of Peter Krider of Philadelphia, Pa.



A fully chased sterling silver Baltimore Rose pitcher weighing 30 troy ounces and with a height of 9 1/2". The chasing is deep and three dimensional. The handle has grapes and leaves on a naturalistic branch background. Brilliant crisp condition.
