Robert Plant hits Europe
First, Robert Plant and the Band of Joy are back in the United Kingdom again, having just hit Sweden and Norway for a pair of shows and this illuminating TV interview in which Plant discussed a lot about Led Zeppelin -- both in the old days of seeing Stockholm with ABBA in the days of recording In Through the Out Door and, more recently, reuniting the band in 2007.
Said Plant: "The guys in Led Zeppelin were spectacular players, and we lost John, but Jimmy and John Paul are still magnificent. And, really, it was a serendip-- it was an amazing phenomenon that we got together and did what we did, honestly, for honesty's sake, not for money's sake or for kudos ..."
Plant and the Band of Joy play in Edinboro, Scotland, tonight. Shows the rest of this month include the Electric Proms in London on Oct. 29, where the band is to be backed by the London Oriana Choir. It will be Plant's second performance with the 72-piece singing ensemble this year: the choir backed him at the Sound & Vision charity concert on Feb. 25.

Respect your elders, douchenozzle. Especially the ones that kicked the door down for the crap bands of today. Without Robert Plant, we'd be listening to shit like Usher and Lady Gaga 24/7 instead of having hard rock and metall of any kind. If he wants to mellow as he gets older, so be it. He still is a PRIMARY reason your favorite music exists.

ROBERT PLANT SUPPORTS CKDCF WEEKEND
Legendary vocalist Robert Plant has donated a signed Gibson Guitar to the CKDCF for auction and will be recording a video message for the attendees of the CKDCF Friday night dinner and Saturday night concert.
Dunnery: "Everyone knows how much I love Robert, I had the time of my life working with him. I have never really asked him to help out because it just didn't enter my head. We don't get to speak very often because he's all over the place and so am I but when I saw him with Prince Charles recieving his Royal seal of approval I had to contact him and give him my congratulations".
Dunnery: " Robert's a Leo so Prince Charles was lucky to meet him" ( !). Robert has been involved with various charities, including the Nordorf Robbins fund for quite some time.
, Dunnery: " I am very grateful that Robert would lend a hand. It will bring some focus to the CKDCF and help us to support various children's needs. Everyone at the CKDCF is buzzing that Robert is donating the guitar and video message. Personally, I think this is absolutely fantastic. I'm psyched ".

ROBERT PLANT INVOLVED IN CAR ACCIDENT
Robert Plant was involved in a car accident a couple weeks ago but escaped unharmed. England’s Telegraph is just now reporting that the Led Zeppelin frontman was in his Audi when he was in a two-car collision in London on July 2nd. The other driver, a drug counselor named Richard Grant, suffered some bruises and whiplash and his Mercedes was totaled. He told the paper he didn’t really get to chat with the rocker explaining, “I was unconscious for a little while and then I saw him standing there. I was pretty groggy when I saw him, but later on the officers told me who he was.”
