Их музыка - это смесь мощного, энергичного панк-рока и эмоционального, пронизывающего сердце эмо. Во время живых вуступлений ребята доказывают, что у них в два раза больше энергии, чем у остальных присутствующих групп. Панковский драйв, чередующийся с техничными инструментальными частями, держит толпу, да и их самих в постоянном движении.

В творчестве Slide-Fifty прослеживается влияние таких современных поп-панк групп, как Green Day, MxPx, Blink-182 и NoFx, но в то же время свежих эмо групп Finch, Taking Back Sunday и The Used.
